Community gathering feedback
Since the community gathering on 25th May, the women have received such incredible feedback from those who attended.
The women were inundated with offers from organisations and officials who wanted to come back to future events and come chat to the women at their group sessions.
The women decided to invite the newly elected Councillors for their areas to have a chat and be able to share more of their work with them.
Councillor Roza Salih - “Thank you for having me. It was great to be present at your event and meet everyone”.
Councillor Sophie Traynor - “Thanks for inviting me along, it was great a event!”
Councillor Lauren Oxley - “Huge thanks to Moments of Freedom for inviting me along to their community gathering. It was great to see some great work and what they are doing to help support and empower New Scot women across Clydebank”.
Dr Sadie Durkacz Ryan - “Had a lovely time at the community gathering at Centre 81. It was lovely to meet everyone, and the food was incredible!”
ASDA Clydebank Community Champion- “Yesterday I had the honour of being invited to meet with a local women’s group of New Scot women. These kind women brought home cooked meals to share with everyone, it was a great introduction of their culture and where needed an interpreter was on hand so everyone could chat without feeling excluded or isolated! It was great fun”.
“I had such great fun, I felt so welcomed by the ladies and went away with a full heart and belly”.
”It was great to come along and meet everyone and learn more about the group”
“It was a pleasure to meet everyone and let’s not forget the fabulous food!”
“I really enjoyed the event and would be happy to attend future events”
Overall, it is safe to say that the event was a great success with guests all wanting to return to future events and sessions.
Future events will be advertised on our social media, so keep your eyes peeled!
